Abstract

The global livestock sector currently stands at a critical juncture, facing the complex challenges of rising food demand, climate change, and the urgent need for environmental sustainability. To navigate these pressures, the industry must embrace a paradigm shift, moving from traditional practices toward technology-driven, precision-based systems. This book, "Livestock Future Research (Sustainability Insights)," is a collaborative endeavor by a group of dedicated researchers and scholars who aim to provide a comprehensive roadmap for the future of animal science. Through eleven meticulously crafted chapters, this volume explores a wide array of innovations—from the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence in poultry farming to the development of climate-smart goat reproduction and the utilization of livestock by-products as high-value biomolecules.
